Fill out your preferences as accurately as possible in the College Match tool
NCSA’s Match Feature uses your inputs including what you’d prefer for distance from home, size of school, academic requirements, Division level and more. These can change the more you research schools or what you’re looking for from a school change throughout your recruiting process.
Help NCSA Experts Evaluate Your Academic and Athletic Fit
Again, a lot of this depends on you! Uploading current video and academic and athletic measurables (grades, athletic stats or times) to your NCSA profile can help our experts evaluate where you might be an academic and athletic fit.
Gain feedback from college coaches
If a coach at a particular division level is interested in you and starts to show signs of recruiting you, it’s likely you’ll see more schools of that level in your feed. Reminder: Use the “My progress” feature on your profile so we know how those interactions are going – are you interested in that level as well? Are they moving forward with contact (if permissible?)
One more helpful hint: Remember, College Match results are only viewable to student-athletes not college coaches, so you don’t have to worry about college coaches having insight other than what you provide on your recruiting process.
