My name is Christie Nasypany-Cicero and I currently reside in Troy, New York just outside the capital of Albany. Sports have been a part of my life since I can remember. I learned to skate almost before I could walk and had a hockey stick in my hands before I started Pre-K.

Originally from New Jersey, when I entered high school I made the decision to attend the National Sports Academy in Lake Placid to continue receiving ice hockey training before finishing out my high school career in my hometown of Manalapan. From there I was a four-year student-athlete at Mercyhurst University where I was lucky enough to compete in two Frozen Four Championships.

My post-playing career led me to a college coaching career that began at SUNY Canton followed by three years of coaching at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. From coaching, I learned that I wanted to help student-athletes find the right institutions for them instead of trying to convince prospects that the school I was working for was the only one for them regardless of if I believed it or not.

It is with that passion and belief that I found NSCA. At NSCA I am fortunate enough to be able to help families find the right higher education fit for them both academically and athletically while also allowing families to determine what is important to them throughout the process.

In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and rooting for the Rangers, Jets, and Red Sox. I also love woodworking, building furniture, kayaking (or any type of water sport really!), and spending time with my lovely 7-year-old Maltipoo, Ryder. I am looking forward to a lasting career with NCSA!
