I can not remember a time where athletics, specifically basketball, hasn’t been a part of my life. Growing up in Western Massachusetts, I played basketball from a very young age and went on to attend Springfield College (coincidently “The Birthplace of Basketball”) where I achieved my degree in Physical Education. After my undergraduate career was over, I stepped full speed into coaching basketball as a graduate assistant coach at The College of New Jersey. In my time there I received my master’s degree in Athletic Administration.

Since that time I accumulated over 15 years of college coaching experience at the Division 3 level. I recently served as GM/Head Coach of the “We Are D3” team in this years TBT tournament on ESPN. Which was a team that was comprised of all former Division 3 All-Americans who are currently playing professionally. My coaching journey included stops at several historically great institutions. At the conclusion of the ’16-’17 season, I stepped down from being the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at The State University of New York at New Paltz after 6 seasons. On the court, my teams recorded the most conference wins (9) since 1999 during the 2013 and 2015 seasons, coached 5 All-Conference student-athletes and 4 1,000 pt scorers.Off the court, my teams equally performed well in the classroom, receiving the NABC Academic Team Excellence Award (cumulative team GPA of 3.0) his final 3 seasons. Prior to SUNY-New Paltz, I was the assistant coach at Amherst College for 4 seasons under legendary coach David Hixon (900+ NCAA wins). During my tenure, I helped coach teams that made 3 NCAA appearances, including an appearance in the Division 3 National Championship game in 2008. I had the pleasure of working with 7 student-athletes that went on to play professional basketball. Most notably Aaron Toomey and Andrew Olsen who were both NABC National Players of The Year for Division III. He currently resides in Milton, NY with his wife Kimberly,

daughter Grace and son Fletcher. Other coaching stints include stops at Plymouth State University and Vassar College.

I have always enjoyed recruiting and the intricate process that has gone along with it. From recruiting nationally from big cities to small towns, I have always enjoyed the relationships built through our common interest in sports. As a former coach, I know first-hand that recruiting is the lifeblood of any program. Recruiting has continued to evolve throughout the years and will continue to evolve for years to come. I love helping families discover opportunities that lie in an often overwhelming experience.

I believe NCSA simplifies the recruiting journey and understand it’s benefits, as I have used our system in my personal recruiting each of my 15 years as a basketball coached. I look forward to helping many more student-athletes (and families) realize their athletic dreams and through the opportunities, we provide for them. These are my true “wins.” I currently reside in New York with my wife Kimberly, daughter Grace and son Fletcher. Other coaching stints for me include stops at Plymouth State University and Vassar College.
