I grew up in Cambridge, England playing soccer for the whole of my childhood. I tried out a number of different sports but none really stood out to me as much as soccer. As much as I loved to play the sport, I realized that a good education was going to be a hugely important part of my career. The idea of studying for a degree involving business, while getting to play soccer at a competitive level became a dream of mine, and that led to me moving to Wheeling Jesuit University in West Virginia.

I moved to the States in 2014 to WJU where I ended up studying and playing all 4 years at the NCAA DII level. The team featured student-athletes from all over the world, and I really appreciated getting to learn about the different places my team mates had come from. Over the course of my playing career I played in 2 conference finals, losing out to the then DII national champions on both occasions. I was lucky to play over 60 times across the 4 seasons and received MEC All-Conference honors. I wasn’t quite ready to let go of the college soccer environment, so after graduation I became the Graduate Assistant at West Liberty University, also in northern WV. This lasted until early 2021 and I received a master’s degree at the end of it.

Now working as a Recruiting Coordinator for NCSA, I get the opportunity to help others get to live their dreams too. The recruitment process may seem complicated and overwhelming at times, so I want to provide as much support to families and student-athletes as possible, to ensure they feel comfortable and excited about moving things forward. I want to help those involved in the recruitment process see that there are so many options out there, and that NCSA can the best resource to assist them.

Being a student-athlete was an unbelievable experience for me, and it will feel extremely rewarding to help others to do it too!
