I was a four-sport varsity athlete in high school competing in soccer, basketball, track and lacrosse. While in high school, I earned my Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America. My dream was to play Division I and I was fortunate to captain the men’s soccer team at Virginia Military Institute. I had an amazing experience at VMI spending four-years on the Dean’s List, being named to Southern Conference All-Academic Teams and graduating with distinction.
I went on to coach collegiately at Division I and III levels, both as a head coach and assistant in volleyball, women’s soccer and men’s soccer. Over the past 15 years, I have coached at West Virginia University, University of Nevada – Las Vegas, Belmont University, and Elmira College. I have also spent over a decade coaching youth soccer, including time as a Director of Coaching.
My favorite part of working with NCSA is working with families from around the world and helping them reach a common goal. Working in athletic recruiting on both the men’s and women’s sides, at the Division I and Division III levels, I know first-hand that recruiting is a complex process that involves more than just participating in sports at the collegiate level; it is also about finding a place where student-athletes connect with the institution, the academics, and overall community. I look forward to using my extensive experience to help families successfully navigate their way through the recruiting process.
I reside in the Nashville area with my wife and daughter.
