I was born and raised in Riverwoods, Illinois, where I attended Deerfield High School. During my time at Deerfield High School, I played volleyball my freshman and sophomore year. Basketball and lacrosse I played all four years. While playing lacrosse in high school, I was named captain of the varsity team my junior and senior year. I also received two different awards at the end of the season: MVP and most goals scored/most draws won. And fun fact: My senior year of high school, my twin brother and I were nominated for most spirited, senioritist and class clown.
I never played at the college level because, unfortunately, Illinois State did not have their own team or club. Although, I do not play lacrosse anymore, I still have a huge passion for it and coach third and fourth grade girls for Lakefore Lacrosse. When I am not at work, I love to hang with family, friends and my dog Rufus. I have an addiction to Mac n’ Cheese, Game of Thrones, dance parties and scaring people.
My favorite part about NCSA is being able to to connect with families and help them make their dream come true by connecting with colleges and their coaches. It is really important to me to assist families and their student-athletes through the recruiting process, because when I was going through the process, I did not have the right tools and resources to get connected with coaches and colleges. I feel my college experience could have been different with the guidance from someone like myself now.
