NCSA Recruiting
I was a high school athlete in track and basketball but never made it to the collegiate level. I had no concept of lower division levels and what smaller schools had to offer. Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I had the support that NCSA provides families all over the world to help them achieve their dreams of playing sports in college.
My favorite part of working at NCSA is the daily interaction I have with families that come to us looking for help. Many of these kids and parents do not know how good or bad their recruiting situation is, and it is very rewarding to provide the peace of mind to those who are about to embark on one of the biggest decisions an 18-year-old can make in their life.
My favorite recruiting story would have to be helping out four members of my immediate family/friend network. The smiles, tears and exhilaration on the faces of my sister, nieces and close friends is worth all the long hours of guidance, education and networking with coaches that we were able to help them with. All four will be attending/graduating from four-year colleges on scholarship. I couldn’t be more proud of their commitment to education and sport.
When I am not working at NCSA, you can find me volunteering, religiously following Cleveland sports, and spending time with my amazing wife and family.
