I have an extensive background in social media focused on college recruiting, as I previously worked as a communications and social media graduate assistant at the University of Oregon and as a communications and social media student assistant at the University of Iowa.
I obtained my MBA in Sports Marketing from the University of Oregon in 2020, and I have three Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Iowa in Journalism & Mass Communications, Sports & Recreation Management, and Communication Studies. i did not compete in college athletics, but I did spend five years working in marketing and social media at top-tier DI programs throughout college. In high school, I loved sports and competed in volleyball, track and field, softball, basketball, and cheerleading. My favorite part about working at NCSA and my favorite part about working with college and high school athletes in general is helping student-athletes to better their lives through educational and athletic opportunities.
Outside of NCSA, I am passionate about helping women to excel in the sports industry as a member of both Women in Sports and Events and the Association of Women in Sports Media.
I currently reside in Chicago, but I am in Iowa native. In my spare time, I enjoy running, hiking, boating, watching college basketball and football, and spending time with my friends and family.
